In April this year, due to a signal switching error on China Television, a scene of anchor Wang Yunzhu yawning on standby was broadcast to the outside world. Later, the two engineers were punished. Wang Yunzhu revealed on his personal community that he had resigned, and jokingly joked to himself, “Yawn, I will step down and bow out first.”
After the broadcasting accident, the outside world was worried that she was also on the punishment list. He himself clarified that “I was not included in the company’s punishment list from the beginning. Please rest assured.” China Television apologized and handed over the investigation of the broadcast error to a public reviewer. In the end, the two engineers were reprimanded, the director was given a verbal warning, and Wang Yunzhu was not punished.
Wang Yunzhu posted a message yesterday announcing his resignation. He held a farewell bouquet sent by his colleagues and thanked CTV and his colleagues for taking care of him. “Thank you to my best social team members. You all are my treasures.” She said that she would report to her new job soon. He also mentioned the broadcast accident in April this year: “Yawn, let me get down and bow first.”
