Her ex-husband absconded with the money taken from his bank account and was sued by his creditors. Zhang Xiuqing cried, “Sue me and I’ll be out of business.”

Zhang Xiuqing issued a statement last week announcing that she has been divorced for three years, and that she lent her ex-husband Wang Guozhan ¥34 million (NT$, about US$1.05 million), but has not received a single penny until now, let alone knowing that she owes a huge debt outside the country, and she is asking him to come forward to solve it. However, some creditors are suspicious of Zhang Xiuqing and plan to seek legal assistance. He is expected to file a case with the District Prosecutor’s Office on the 20th.

Since the couple had a warm relationship not long ago, and they were not shy about expressing their love in interviews in the past, Zhang Xiuqing’s divorce shocked the outside world. Some netizens found photos of the two traveling together to South Korea at the end of last year, raising questions that the matter was not simple.

According to “TVBS” report, some creditors said that Wang Guozhan had borrowed money from various venues under the pretext of holding a concert, and the debt was estimated at about NT$500 million. The victims included members of the Youth Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club. And the day he bounced and disappeared, a large number of creditors came and found his company empty. Another creditor said that after contacting Zhang Xiuqing, he wanted to recover the debt, but was told, “Sue me and I will quit my job.”

However, Zhang Xiuqing mentioned in a previous statement that she was also a victim. Because Wang Guozhan was irresponsible and procrastinating, she suffered injustice. “I sincerely hope that Mr. Wang Guozhan can face it bravely and deal with the debts responsibly so that all creditors can get a perfect solution.” Zhang Xiuqing has not yet responded to the creditor’s allegations.
